2009 Season

Another year is now upon us and aims to be an exciting year with the installation now any day of the nitrox membrane onto the compressor.
The year commenced with a new years day snorkel and there will be snorkelling now on a weekly bassis for trainees and members alike to keep their fitness up and this also gives you an opportunity to get ready for your yearly CFT fitness test.
Speaking of which, Your fitness test is to be done on wed 21st January.
The fitness test consists of the following:
200m swim
50m tow
1 Length breadth hold underwater swim.
Please note That you cannot be registered as a diver with CFT until this is complete - There can be no exceptions.

Remember to keep an eye on the forums for details of up and comming trips, dives and snorkels. And dont forget any member can post to the forums once logged in!

Xmas Party 2008

Ok guyz and Girlz - Its that time of year yet again!
The christmas party will be at the Brazen Head Fri 12th Dec 8.30pm
finger food and DJ, with lots of spots too. Tickets €20 a head.

1st €250 plus luxury hamper
2nd €150 plus luxury hamper
3rd €100 plus hamper
4th €50 plus hamper
5th €50 bottle spirts and bottle of wine

Viking Open Night

Hi all
Yes its that time of year again when Viking opens its doors for new members and trainees.
With the arrival of our new nitrox compressor - this is surely going to add to the benefits of learning to dive and to continue diving with the Viking Sub Aqua Club.
Our next open night is scheduled for Wednesday the 12th of November at 8pm in Coolmine sports and leisure complex and if you are interested Email the pro at pro@vikingsubaqua.com or alternatively Email the training officer at training@vikingsubaqua.com

Viking AGM

The Viking AGM to be held on Wednesday 24th Of September at the Halfway house, Navan Road, Castlenock
All members are requested to attend if at all possible
Can all members be there at 8pm sharp with existing committee members be present at 7.30 sharp.
Meeting will commence at 8.05 sharp

Raithlin Weekend

Just to remind everyone that it is the 20th Anniversary of Bernard Cassidy and Robert Glass, Both famillies are planning on taking a trip up that weekend and a commerative plaque is being fitted on the harbour wall. The president of CFT, Don McGlinchey will also be there to say a few words of commeration.
this is planned for the weekend of the 19th Of September 2008.

Club Night Out
