Club History
Viking SAC have been in existence since 1976. We have several veteran divers within the club who are a great welth of information and experience to the club and several of our members have held prominent positions within the CFT organisation throughout the years.

Club Training
The club trains in the pool at Coolmine Community centre on Wednesday evenings at 9:15pm until 10:15pm.
Most lectures take place immeadiately preceding the pool session in Coolmine, normally at 7:30pm but this varies with the course.
New Trainees are generally enrolled at the end of the year after a 'Open Night' and, normally the club trainees will be in the pool practicing their excercies up until about April (after this they practice their excerises in the sea.
Numerous CFT courses are held throughout the year giving club members the benefit of being able to constantly improve and further their dive training and qualifications.
There is also pool training weekly on a wednesday evening for members to utilise to keep their fitness levels up.
After the pool training session the club head for the local pub just around the corner.

Joining Viking SAC
Viking SAC hold a open night featuring a 'Try a Dive' at the end of every season, and afterwards commence in a training schedule for new divers. Qualified Divers can also joing Viking whether they are moving location or organisations.

Club Diving
Viking SAC dive weekly around Dublin bay during the diving season and also organise trips around Ireland and abroad every few weeks both during and out of the diving season.
