This page has the answers to a number of commonly asked questions.
- How to register/How do I log in
In order to login to the site you need to register first. To register click on the "Register" link in "Member Login" block on the left of the
website. This brings you to a page with the Registration Agreement Terms. Read the terms and click the link appropriate for you. If you agreed
to the terms you will be brought to a page with some details you have to fill out. Pick a username, preferably one that other club members
will recognise, and enter your username. You may choose your own password (entering it twice to making sure it's the same both times) or allow
one to generated for you automatically. Then hit the "Submit" button.
Once this is done you will be asked to confirm your details are correct and click the "Finish" button. If they are incorrect hit back and correct
them. At this stage an email will be sent to you confirming that you have registered. An email will also be sent to the site administrator
notifying him that you have registered and need to be approved. Once the administrator approves you a final email will be sent to your email
address notifying you.
Once you get this email you can login to the website. Loging in will allow access to a number of extra pages, including club members list. Logging
in is done by entering the username you choose in the "Nickname" box and the password you choose in the "Password" box of the "Member Login"
block on the left side of the website.
- How put a photo up on the website
To add a photo to the website you must first have an album to put the photo in. Before creating an album go to "Photo Gallery". This adds a new block
to the top left of the website called "Photo Gallery Tasks". To create an album click on "Create / order my albums". Your albums (if you have any)
will be listed. Also provided is a box where the name of a new album can be set and a button which, when clicked, will create the new album. You
can create multiple albums (you might have an album for pictures from Croatia and another for pictures from a Bank Holiday Weekend).
To actually add a new photo you need to click on "Upload picture". This provides a number of boxes which must be filled. First is the album you
want to load the picture to. You select the album from the list of all your albums. Next is the picture you want to upload. Click the "Browse"
button and find the picture on your computer. Next is the picture title. After that is a description of the picture. Finally is a list of words
to describe the picutre (you can skip this is you want) which people can use to search for the picture. When these are filled out you can click
"Upload picture". Click "Finish" at the next message. You will be then taken to a view of the photo. Once the picture is approved by the site
administrator it will be visible to everyone accessing the site, although you should be able to see it immeadiately.
The above steps can be repeated for many photos, and you can put as many photos as you want into a single album.
